FLOYD W. MAXWELL

Floyd W. Maxwell, 69, died Oct. 22, 1997, in a local hospital.

Born in Norfolk, he was a sales representative for Broudy-Kantor Co. Inc. and retired after 26 years of service. He was a member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church and Owens Masonic Lodge No. 164, Norfolk, a life member of the G.M.R.A. and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. .

Survivors include his wife, Bettie H. Maxwell; a daughter, Wendie Maxwell-Hale, and her husband, Bill, of Virginia Beach; a son, Dale W. Maxwell of Virginia Beach; and a sister, Evelyn M. Beard of Virginia Beach.

A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Crute. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence following the service.
