OLA MAE ROUNTREE

Ola Mae Rountree, 78, of the 200 block of Bonney Terrace, died Oct. 25, 1997,in her residence.

Born in Gates County, N.C., she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Portsmouth, Maude Bailey Sunday School Class and Women's Missionary Union.

Survivors include her husband, William M. Rountree; a daughter, Peggy Jo Flora of Wendell, N.C.; a son, William ``Ronnie'' Rountree of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; two brothers, George Worrell of Virginia Beach, Robert Worrell of Edenton, N.C.; four grandchildren, Gregory Flora, Christopher Flora, Janet Flora and Jeffrey Rountree; and a great-grandchild, Spencer Flora.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Philip J. Parker. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 2117 London Blvd., Portsmouth, Va. 23704.
