GLENN W. RAYNARD SR.

Glenn Wilbur Raynard Sr., 67, of the 400 block of DeKalb Ave. died Oct. 25, 1997, in a local hospital.

A native of South Webster, Ohio, he had retired from Virginia Power and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Marie Raynard; three daughters, Trudy M. Ashley, Debbie Hamilton, Charlotte Mora; five sons, Glenn W. ``Buddy'' Raynard Jr., Roger E. Raynard, Randy L. Raynard, Mark A. Raynard, James E. Raynard; two brothers, Herman Raynard, Dale Raynard; and 16 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Lee Raynard.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. U.G. Robertson. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
