Ruby Irene Griffin, 87, of the 3500 block of Kentucky Ave. died Oct. 26, 1997, in her residence.
Born in Raleigh, N.C., she was the widow of Frank Carl Griffin Jr. and a member of the U.S. Navy Memorial Presidential Trust Fund.
Survivors include her daughter, Leah Griffin of Collingswood, N.J.; five grandchildren, John Griffin of New Jersey, Melina Griffin of Delaware, Richard Montague, June Montague and Janet Montague, all of Virginia.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Terry Beck. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
