Police are investigating a homicide that occurred about 3 p.m. Tuesday in Lincoln Park.
The victim, a black male who has not been identified, was shot in the head in a courtyard in the 100 block of Lexington Drive, according to police spokeswoman Amber Whittaker. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Whittaker said police do not know the victim's age and that several people at the scene gave police different names for the victim.
Police were told he was shot by another man who fled on a bicycle. The suspect was described as a black male, about 5 feet 6, wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket, a ball cap and blue and white tennis shoes. KEYWORDS: SHOOTING MURDER
