Manuel M. Samuels, 88, of the 100 block of Smythe Court, died Oct. 30, 1997, in a Virginia Beach Hospital.
Mr. Samuels was born in Norfolk and was a member of Ohef Sholom Temple, Norfolk. He was the widower of Bettie Yates Samuels.
Survivors include his daughter, Leslie S. Hazelette of Norfolk; his sons, Byron "Tuffy" Samuels of Virginia Beach and Lloyd P. Samuels of Norfolk; a granddaughter and three grandsons.
A chapel service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. Memorial donations may be made to Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, P.O.
