FANNIE W. MABRY

Fannie Wright Mabry, 76, of the 1000 block of Galt St., died Oct. 29, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Whitehurst Wright. She retired in 1977 after 20 years employment. Mrs. Mabry was a member of First Baptist Church, Bute Street, Norfolk.

Survivors include her husband, James Edwin Mabry of the home; a daughter, Iris Wood of Norfolk; a son, James Mabry Jr. of Norfolk; two grandchildren, James Mabry III and Shawn Wood; three great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church, Bute Street, by the Rev. Robert G. Murray. Burial will be in Woodland Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Riddick Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the residence. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
