Walter Joseph Feldhaus, 81, formerly of Rotonda West, Fla., died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997.
Mr. Feldhaus was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the son of the late Maximillian and Margaret Riker Feldhaus. He was the widower of the late Louise Donahue Feldhaus. Mr. Feldhaus had retired from his position as the comptroller of Arrow Shirts, a subsidiary of Cluett Peabody, in Troy, N.Y., and was a member of Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Feldhaus is survived by two daughters, Louise Danylevich of Worcester, Mass., and Margaret ``Peg'' Morin of Chesapeake; two sons, Thomas Daniel Feldhaus of Poquoson, John Joseph Feldhaus of McLean; a sister, Martha Mahoney of New Paltz, N.Y. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Laura and Natalie Danylevich.
The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, from 11 a.m. until noon today. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today in Prince of Peace Catholic Church by the Rev. Christian Haydinger. Interment will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
