A Suffolk man was killed Saturday morning after the compact pickup he was driving flipped several times near Route 610.
Chad M. Hamilton, 21, of the 6700 block of S. Quay Road, died before he could be freed from his overturned vehicle three-quarters of a mile north of Route 609, State Police reported.
He was driving alone north on 610 at about 8:10 a.m. when he apparently lost control of the truck. It ran off the right and then left sides of the road before hitting a ditch and rolling over several times, police said.
Investigators are still reconstructing the accident but are blaming speed as a cause. No alcohol was involved, and Hamilton was wearing a seat belt, police said. KEYWORDS: ACCIDENT TRAFFIC FATALITY
