CRIME LINE

Hampton Roads police agencies are looking for information about these crimes:

Portsmouth

In August 1996, juveniles found the remains of an unknown man in an old warehouse located at 2236 Randolph St. Police are still seeking his identity.

He is described as black, believed to be 24 to 30 years old and about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a short-sleeved, hooded shirt with maroon, green and white stripes, blue and white denim shorts and black and white Nike Air tennis shoes with velcro straps.

Virginia Beach

About noon on Oct. 16, a man was abducted at knife point and forced into a car. He was then forced to commit sodomy on his abductor in the parking lot of Pembroke Mall.

The abductor was described as white, 22 to 23 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He was wearing a white baseball cap with black lettering, baggy jeans and combat boats.

The suspect drove a light blue, two-door Honda hatchback with a gray interior and black seat covers.

Chesapeake

Since early September, about 25 medical offices have been broken into around Chesapeake General Hospital on North Battlefield Blvd.

Burglars also have broken into offices near the Division of Motor Vehicles office at North Battlefield Boulevard and Volvo Parkway. The only items taken are cash and postage stamps.

Hampton

On Oct. 11, about 11:30 a.m., two men entered Hecht's department store in the 1800 West Mercury Blvd.

The men walked around the store before going to a clothing rack near the west entrance. They grabbed numerous shirts from the racks and ran from the store with the merchandise in their arms.

The suspects were last seen driving away in an older model, four-door, maroon Ford.

The first suspect is described as black, heavy set and 18 to 22 years old. He was wearing a blue baseball cap and a light-colored t-shirt with a Nike logo and the words ``Just Do It'' on the back.

The second suspect is described as black, thin, 18 to 22 years old and wearing a black shirt and dark blue jeans. ILLUSTRATION: Composite of abductor suspect in Virginia Beach
