Betty Lammie, 68, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997.
She was born in Logan, W.Va., and lived in Chesapeake for the last 38 years. She was a member of the Peoples Baptist Church and an avid bowler for 30 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Lammie.
Survivors include her daughter, Fran Caldwell and her husband, Randy, of Seaford; three sisters, Eloise Foutz and her husband, George, of Chesapeake, Doris Allen of Chesapeake, Clarice Shoemaker and her husband, Howard, of Pennsylvania; three brothers, Don Ramey of Maryland, Hobert Ramey and wife, Flo, of Maryland, James Ramey of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Michelle, Joey and Little Randy; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Paul Hawkins.
