MARGARET L. KELLEY

Mrs. Margaret A. Lefevre Kelley, 48, of the 100 block of Ridgewood Drive died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, in Health Alliance, Leominster Hospital after a brave fight against cancer.

Mrs. Kelley, a registered nurse, was the infection control coordinator for Health Alliance, Leominster Hospital. She was a graduate of St. Anne's Academy, Marlborough, in 1967 and the Leominster Hospital School of Nursing in 1970. She then became the student/employee health nurse and infection control coordinator for the hospital.

She was a member of the Hospital Employee Health Nurses Association for many years and also served as their treasurer several years ago. She was a member of Association of Professionals in Infection Control (A.P.I.C.) and a member of St. Leo's Church, Leominster.

She was born in Marlborough, Mass., Jan. 2, 1949, the daughter of Oliver and Anna (Geary) Lefevre and was a former resident of Boxboro before moving to Leominster 20 years ago.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ralph E. Kelley; two daughters, Kathleen M. Kelley of Virginia Beach, Anne P. Kelley of Leominster; four brothers, Donald Lefevre of Orlando, Fla., Robert Lefevre of Northborough, Paul Lefevre and George Lefevre, both of Marlborough; nephews and nieces.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, Leominster, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main St., Leominster. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Marlborough. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
