Alma Gillette Hughes, 63, of the 200 block of Navajo Trail passed on Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley E. Hughes Sr.; children, Bambi H. Bennett, Stanley E. Hughes Jr. and April M. Raines; stepchildren, Sandra Duncan and Linda Fulmer; sister, Wilma Pfadenhauer; brothers, Herbert Gillette, Allen Gillette and Donald Gillette; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Joyce Radford. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
