Mary (Lou) H. Lathers, 76, died Sunday Nov. 2, 1997, in Virginia Beach General Hospital. She was a Peninsula resident for 38 years and lived in Virginia Beach for the past eight years.
Mrs. Lathers is survived by her husband, Fred T. Lathers; her sister, Dorothy H. James of Charlottesville; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Peninsula Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service until 3 p.m. at the funeral home and from 7 to 9 p.m. at 917 N. Hilltop Road, Virginia Beach. Memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson's Disease Foundation or a favorite charity. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
