HOMER W. VANN

Homer W. Vann, 86, of the 3200 block of Galberry Road died Nov. 3, 1997, in his residence.

Born in Ensley, Ala., he was a retired supervisor of the electronic shop at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Jane Vann; a daughter, Betty Williams of Portsmouth; a son, Don Vann of Gloucester, Va.; a sister, Evelyn Centrone of Hemet, Calif.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Deep Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Ernie Myers and Dr. Roscoe Musselwhite. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund at Deep Creek Baptist Church.
