An ordinance to amend and reordain Section 37-81 relating to post-retirement supplements to provide a 2 percent supplement to certain retirees. (Delayed at the Oct. 21 meeting.) Approved, 4-3. (Collins, Riddick and Wright voted no.)
Matter of a motion by Councilman Riddick on a proposed ordinance to provide a one-time payment to retirees based upon 3 percent of their average final compensation and authorizing the expenditure of $256,000.
