CURTIS F. WARD SR.

Curtis Francis Ward Sr., 75, of the 1100 block of Chesapeake Ave. died Nov. 4, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Born in Capeville, Va., he was a retired truck driver. Mr. Ward was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Chesapeake, and a member of the Beacon Sunday School Class. He was the widower of Bernice Theresa Ward.

Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Dawn Godard of Corvallis, Ore.; two sons, Leslie F. Ward and Curtis F. Ward Jr., both of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Dave Libengood. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
