BERTHA B. BINDER

Bertha Berlin Binder, 95, of 6401 Auburn Drive, died Nov. 6, 1997.

Mrs. Binder was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Joseph Binder. She was a member of Beth El Synagogue in Norfolk.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith Lederer and her husband, Paul Lederer of Wheaton, Md.; her son, Gilbert Binder and his wife, Roberta Binder of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Janice Deauville and her husband, Richard Deauville and their daughter, April of Columbia, Md., Robert Lederer of New York City, Karen Lederer and her husband, Brian Sabel and their daughter, Rosa of Amherst, Mass., Lisa Barr and her husband, Jeffery Barr and their daughter, Rebecca and son, Joshua of Norfolk, and Shelley Binder of Knoxville, Tenn.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg and Cantor Jacob Tessler. The family will be together at 2329-301 Shore Sands Court, Virginia Beach, 23451.
