Florence Del Rosso Blais, 66, a devoted wife and mother, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, in her home.
The daughter of Margherita and Domenico Del Rosso, she was raised in Watkins Glen, N.Y., and graduated from Nazareth College, Rochester, N.Y. She was an exemplary English-reading teacher for 18 years and served as vice president and president of the Virginia Beach Reading Council. She was also a board member of the Virginia State Reading Association and a Fellow, Eastern Virginia Writing Project at the College of William and Mary.
