Nora ``Toni'' H. Scott, 68, of the 400 block of Knotts Island Road passed away Nov. 7, 1997.
Mrs. Scott was the widow of Jim A. Scott. She was born in Norfolk but re- sided in Knotts Island. She graduated from Creeds High School in 1947 and was baptized at London Bridge Baptist Church in 1943.
She is survived by her three sons, Clifford R. Scott and wife, Cindy, of Knotts Island, Barry L. Scott and wife, Kay, of Knotts Island, Jim A. ``Scottie'' Scott Jr. and fiance of Tacoma, Wash.; five grandchildren, Reid Scott, Carly Jo Scott, Dwight Scott, Cory Scott and Kim Scott; one great-grandchild, Jerry Pittman Jr.; and a host of close family and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Knotts Island Methodist Church by the Rev. Frank Jennings. Burial will follow in Knotts Island Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, and all other times at the home of the son, Barry, 121 Blackfoot Road, Knotts Island.
