Margaret E. Harrison, 79, of the 100 block of Filbert St., went home to be with God on Nov. 8, 1997.
Mrs. Harrison was born March 2, 1918, in Norfolk, the daughter of Alexander and Nessie Washington. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Bollingbrook, of which her parents were the founders. She was retired from Norfolk Naval Supply Center as supervisor in data processing.
She is survived by her devoted husband, John H. Harrison Jr.; 14 nieces, 17 nephews; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and several cousins.
A going-home celebration will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in First Baptist Church, Bollingbrook, by Pastor Clinton Brown. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
