Louis Bodnar Jr., 84, died Nov. 10, 1997, in a private nursing home in the Deep Creek section.
He was a kind and gentle man to everyone. Born March 1, 1913, in Hungary, he was the son of the late Louis and Theresa Dobos Bodnar Sr. He was retired from the city of Norfolk. Mr. Bodnar was a Catholic.
He is survived by one sister, Margaret B. Gates of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Steve Bodnar of Chesapeake and William Bodnar of Dade City, Fla.; many nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver, Marie Heath.
A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Blackwater Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Ralph Horn. Twiford Funeral Home, Great Bridge, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
