James Homer Mashburn, 77, died Nov. 6, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital.
Born in Clarkston, Ga., he was retired as a master chief aircraft mechanic after 30 years. He was a Navy veteran of Korea, World War II and Vietnam. He was a member of Fleet Reserve Branch No. 60.
Survivors include two sons, James Robert Mashburn of Cumming, Ga., and Douglas Ronald Mashburn of Marietta, Ga.; a brother, Edward L. Mashburn of Northeast Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. A Fleet Reserve service will be held at 7 p.m. during the visitation. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
