TWO APPOINTED TO POSITIONS AT DYNAMIC ENGINEERING: Dynamic Engineering, an engineering and fabrication of aerospace and marine prototype hardware firm, named Paul Flick as the company's production manager. Flick, a certified manufacturing engineering technologist, was production manager at Ford Motor Co. Dick Gurtis was named business proposal manager. He was most recently a computer software instructor with CTA Inc. in Norfolk.

TAYLOR COMPANIES WIN AWARD: NWC Holding Co. and its subsidiaries, which include Taylor Document Management Co. Inc., Norfolk Warehouse Distribution Centers, Diamond T Transportation Systems Inc., Norchem Inc. and Norfolk Warehouse Management, has been chosen as the winner of the Tidewater chapter of the Business and Professional Women's ``1997 Small Business Exemplary Employer of the Year.'' The award was given to the Taylor Companies for issues dealing with the advancement of women in business.

TIDEWATER FIBRE CORP.'S RECYCLING FACILITY DEDICATION CEREMONY: Tidewater Fibre Corp will have a dedication ceremony for its new state-of-the-art recycling facility at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 1958 Diamond Hill Road. The center is the first of its kind in the state.
