Police began investigating a pedestrian's death late Monday after an apparent accident in the 5100 block of George Washington Highway.
Few details were immediately available. The death was reported to police around 10 p.m. Police said the male victim was apparently struck by a car and died at the scene. Police were talking to the driver late Monday, but no charges had been filed.
