CRIME LINE

Virginia Beach

On Nov. 3, at 9:35 a.m., an employee of Little Caesars Pizza in Providence Square opened the front door of the business and was confronted by a man who forced his way inside.

The suspect implied that he had a gun and demanded that the employee open the safe. After getting money from the safe, he taped the victim's mouth, wrists and ankles and left through a rear door.

He drove away with a white male in a light-blue, 1980s, 4-door vehicle.

The suspect is described as black, about 35, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was clean-shaven and wearing stud earrings in each ear. He also wore a black baseball hat with a ``B'' on the front, a dark blue and white flannel shirt and dirty jeans. He had a black panther tattoo on his left forearm with the letters ``M B'' underneath.

Chesapeake

About 10 p.m. on Oct. 29, several shots were fired into a residence in the 4400 block of Dartmoor Court.

All the shots were fired from behind the house. Two women inside were struck by bullets.

At this time there are no suspects.

Portsmouth

On Aug. 13, shortly before 9 a.m., two men entered the Kentucky Fried Chicken in the 2800 block of Airline Blvd. They were armed with handguns and a sawed-off shotgun.

The gunmen forced the manager to open a safe. Once the suspects had the money from it, they fled toward the Chowan Trace Apartments.

The first suspect is described as black, 16 to 17 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 140 pounds. He wore a cream-colored T-shirt, white jogging pants, and black and white Nikes.

The second suspect is described as black, 18 to 19 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds. He wore a dark-colored shirt, green camouflage pants and hat, and brown boots.

Hampton

Phillip J. Holland, 25, is accused of breaking into an apartment and robbing a man at gunpoint.

Holland is described as black with a dark complexion, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He may have a mustache and goatee.

Holland may be armed with a handgun and should be considered dangerous.

Rodney Lamont Gilbert, 23, is accused of a felony for attempting to assault a police officer.

He is described as black, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 185 pounds, with hazel eyes, black hair and mustache.

Gilbert was last known to reside on Homestead Avenue in Hampton.

Newport News

Nigel Lee Brown, 20, is wanted on multiple charges of assault and battery, abduction, destruction of property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and breaking and entering.

Brown is described as black, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 156 pounds, with a beard and mustache.

His last known address was in the 200 block of Darnaby Avenue in Hampton, but he may now frequent the Pine Avenue area of Newport News, or various areas of Suffolk and Williamsburg. ILLUSTRATION: Sketch
