DOROTHY A. ABRAMSON

Dorothy Anna Abramson, 76, of Lynnhurst Blvd. died Nov. 10, 1997, in a Portsmouth hospital.

A native of Portsmouth, she was the widow of Leon Abramson and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda C. Evans and her husband, Gary, of Dallas, Texas; a son, Harry B. Abramson and his wife, Kathy, of Chesapeake; a sister, Esther L. Abrams and her husband, William, of Portsmouth; and a sister-in-law, Blanche Lipman of Portsmouth. She was predeceased by a brother, Dr. Ansel Lipman.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Chevra Tillum Cemetery by Rabbi Philip S. Krohn. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gomley Chesed Synagogue, Dorothy Abramson Memorial Fund. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
