RUTH T. WRIGHT

Ruth Twiddy Wright, 77, of the 1100 block of Sound Shore Drive and formerly of Edenton, died Nov. 11, 1997, in a Currituck nursing home.

Mrs. Wright was the daughter of the late Robert and Bessie Ashley Twiddy and the widow of the A.W. ``Wash'' Wright. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Edenton.

Survivors include two daughters, Joan Clark and Dolly Pate, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, Alfred Wright Jr. of Currituck, Kenneth A. Wright of Roanoke Rapids; two sisters, Emma Whiteman and Marie Alexander, both of Edenton; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Tom Hall. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
