GENNY HAYES

Genny Hayes, 17, died Nov. 11, 1997, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Miss Hayes was a native of Washington, D.C. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Virginia Beach and attended Pembroke Elementary School in Virginia Beach.

Survivors include her mother and father, Mary Egan Hayes and Dr. Thomas J. Hayes, M.D.; her sister and brother, Megan T. Hayes and Bryan T. Hayes, both of Virginia Beach; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond A. Egan of Hagerstown, Md., and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Hayes of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.

The family will receive friends at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 712 Little Neck Road, Virginia Beach, from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated by Father James M. Noto and Bishop Edward M. Egan of Bridgeport, Conn., immediately following. A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, Virginia Beach.
