Donald James Krejcarek, 71, died Nov. 12, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Whitelaw, Wis., he retired as a U.S. Navy captain, veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam and was a member of the Retired Officers Association. He was a past president and member of the Bayside Lions Club and a graduate of Notre Dame.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy C. Krejcarek; two sons, Donald Krejcarek, and his wife, Sharon of Lawton, Okla., David Krejcarek, and his wife, Linda of Virginia Beach; a sister, Marcella Frelich of Maribel, Wis.; two brothers, Eugene Krejcarek, Melvin Krejcarek, both of Manitowoc, Wis.; five grandchildren, Michelle, Amy, Laura, Michael and Jennifer.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Chaplain Joseph Ceriello and Chaplain Dale Marta. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
