Willie Mae Copeland, 92, of the 2100 block of Nashville Ave., died Nov. 11, 1997, in Beverly Manor of Portsmouth.
Born in Portsmouth, she had retired as a seafood processor for Fleming Crab House after 50 years of service. She was a member of Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and a member of Cheerful Givers.
Survivors include her son, Russell Copeland of Portsmouth; a nephew, Clarence Copeland Jr.; and a host of cousins.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. Friday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
