The wrong photo ran with a story Wednesday about the death of

g1fyi13 V. Alfred ``Jack'' Etheridge

V. Alfred ``Jack'' Etheridge. He is shown in the photo at left.

Also, Etheridge's age was wrong in the story; he was 79 when he

died.

A fire Tuesday killed a man in his Chesapeake home. An item in

1-Minute News erroneously said the fire was in Norfolk.

Two-thirds of community colleges and about half of the state's

four-year schools currently require a C average after two years to

receive state financial aid. A story Wednesday incorrectly said they

require a B average.
