Joseph Treon ``Joey'' Adams, 17, died Nov. 10, 1997.
Born in Portsmouth, he was a student at Ocean Lakes High School and was a son of Brenda M. and James A. Adams Jr. of Virginia Beach.
He is also survived by a sister, Winde D. Adams of Virginia Beach; a brother, Arthur G. Adams of Virginia Beach; grandparents, Ruth Thomas and Wayne Thomas of Fieldale, Va., Frank and Eunice Myers of Laurinburg, N.C., Sandy Lawrence of Norfolk; and many other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
