Mary Ruth Randolph, 81, died Nov. 12, 1997, in Elizabeth City.
Born in North Carolina, she was the widow of Paul Adam Randolph and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean Miller of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Ray A. Randolph of Hertford; two brothers, Harry Basnight of Norfolk and Joe Basnight of Richmond; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Azalea Garden Church of God by the Rev. Aubrey Maye. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
