Doris Mae Barnes Faulkner, 70, died Nov. 13, 1997, in Sentara Nursing Home, Norfolk.
Mrs. Faulkner was born in Beaufort, N.C., and was a homemaker. She was a member of New Temple Grove Ministries and the wife of the late Thomas J. Faulkner.
Survivors include two cousins, Oscar and Arthur Whitehurst of New Bern, N.C.; and a special friend, Barbara Nobles of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in New Temple Grove Ministries Church, 3972 South Military Hwy., Chesapeake, with the Rev. Johnny McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday at Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
