IRIS Y. NATCHUS

Iris Yount Natchus, 61, of the 1600 block of Laurel Ave., died Nov. 12, 1997, in a Chesapeake hospital.

Mrs. Natchus was a native of Norfolk. She was a member of Oaklette United Methodist Church in Chesapeake.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, George A. Natchus; two daughters, Melissa N. Silverman and her husband, Jeff, of Chesapeake, and Diane N. Springer and her husband, Sam, of Chesapeake; two sons, Arthur W. ``Rocky'' Natchus and his wife, Pam, of Chesapeake, and Michael G. Natchus and his girlfriend, Jennifer Smith, of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Rose Rice, Fern Carter and Lillie Earley, all of Chesapeake; a brother, William A. Yount of Chesapeake; and two grandchildren, Kara and Nicole Natchus. It was to these beloved people that she was a cornerstone of love and spirit and to whom she dedicated her life.

A church service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oaklette United Methodist Church by the Rev. Serbert Rorrer and the Rev. Savas Constantinou. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A prayer service for friends and family will be held in the funeral home today at 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the local Red Cross or Oaklette United Methodist Church. H.D.
