PASQUOTANK ROBBERY SUSPECT STILL SOUGHT

Investigators are still searching for a slim, white male who robbed the Crosswinds convenience store on Weeksville Road Sunday at 6:30 p.m., said Pasquotank County Sheriff Randy Cartwright.

Witnesses said the suspect was about 6 feet tall, wearing blue jeans, a red flannel shirt and black combat boots. He ran down Consolidated Road toward the Crosswinds subdivision.

He was carrying a blue-steel handgun and is considered armed and dangerous. During the robbery, the suspect wore a shirt around his head with holes cut out at the eyes, Cartwright said.

Investigators found gloves, the shirt used as a mask and a red flannel shirt along Consolidated Road. Cartwright said dogs could not pick up the suspect's trail.
