DUDLEY E. WILLIAMS

Dudley Edward ``Bud'' Williams, 64, of the 500 block of Briar Hill Road, diedNov. 11, 1997.

Born in Calypso, N.C., he retired as a truck driver of Preston Trucking Co. with 20 years service. He was a member of Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Weston Williams; four daughters, Gwendolyn W. Pendergraft of Newport News, Sharon D. Williams, Janette T. Jennings, Calena P. Williams, all of Norfolk; two sons, Douglas E. Williams, Tecumseh Williams, of Norfolk; two sons-in-law, A.L. Pendergraft Jr. of Newport News, Leo D. Jennings of Norfolk; four sisters, Annie Mildred Ezzell of Mount Olive, N.C., Mary McNulty of Norfolk, Annie Pearl McCalop of Norfolk; a brother, Timothy Williams of New York; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a host of niece, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Vera McCalop and Robert Williams, and his sister, Eva Louise Stackhouse.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church by Monsignor Walter C. Barrett. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
