Jeffrey Lynn Brock, 42, of the 500 block of Mount Vernon Ave. died Nov. 12, 1997, in a local hospital.
He was a Portsmouth native and a painter with Painter Union No. 1100.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine R. Brock; his parents, Edith Stanley Bayne of Chesapeake and John L. Brock Sr. of Rose Hill, Va.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Engel of Virginia Beach, Andrew Brock of Portsmouth; four sisters, Carolyn of Missouri, Lisa of Connecticut, Barbara and Annette, both of Chesapeake; two brothers, Johnny Brock Jr. of Texas, Gary Brock of Portsmouth; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
The body will be cremated and a memorial service will follow later. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
