Steven Barrett Tanner, 42, of the 1600 block of Barron St. died Nov. 11, 1997.
A native of Portsmouth, he was a clerk at Parts America. He was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church and a past member of Commonwealth Chorus.
Survivors include a nephew, Scott Rawls of Suffolk; two uncles, Edward Tanner of Portsmouth, Broughton Tanner of Atlanta; cousins; and good friends, Robert and Elsie Shea of Portsmouth, Terry R. McGill and his wife, Helga, of Portsmouth, Carsten J. Hilton, Emily Grimes and her husband, Bernard of Portsmouth and their children, Joel and Anna Klouzal.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday in Holy Communion Lutheran Church by Dr. Dennis Buchholz. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
