DORIS B. FAULKNER

Doris Mae Barnes Faulkner, 70, of the 400 block of Summers Place, died Nov. 13, 1997, in Sentara Nursing Home, Norfolk.

Mrs. Faulkner was born Nov. 7, 1927 in Beaufort, N.C. and the daughter of the late John and Lizzie Barnes. She was a homemaker and member of New Temple Grove Ministries. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Faulkner.

Survivors include two cousins, Oscar and Arthur Whitehurst of New Bern, N.C.; and a special friend, Barbara Nobles of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in New Temple Grove Ministries Church, 3972 South Military Hwy., Chesapeake, with the Rev. Johnny McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held today at Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
