Retired U.S. Navy CPO-STGC James Hemphill Blandford Sr., 60, died Nov. 12, 1997, in a local hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Joycelyn A. (Brooks) Blandford; a son, James H. Blandford Jr.; a daughter, Sheryll A. Blandford; and two grandchildren, Michael and Ashley.
A memorial service will be held at the residence at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Kellum Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
