SIMON YUEN

Simon Yuen, 76, of the 600 block of Whitehurst Landing Road, died Nov. 11, 1997, in Arkansas.

Born in Tai San, China, he was a retired part owner of Kim Ting Chinese Restaurant, Norfolk, and a member of the Chinese Community of Tidewater.

Survivors include his wife, Toy May Yuen; two daughters, Sally Harris and her husband, John, of Florida, Sandy Fang and her husband, Peter, of Pennsylvania; a son, James Yuen and his wife, Lynda, of Arkansas; a brother of Australia; and five grandsons, Aaron, Adam, Adrian, Brian and John.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive, by the Rev. Brian McDonald. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Chinese Community Center, 722 Newtown Road, Virginia Beach, or to the Chinese Baptist Church, P.O. Box 8848, Virginia Beach, Va. 23450.
