Lillian J. Townsend of the 1400 block of E. Princess Anne Road died Nov. 11, 1997. She wasborn in Princess Anne County.
Survivors include a daughter, Hattie D. Woods of Norfolk; a son, William Cartwright of Norfolk; two sisters, Pauline Daniels of Norfolk, Beatrice Johnson of Hampton; a brother, James Turner of Norfolk; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Morning Star Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. C.H. Williams. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
