GERTRUDE V. GRAY

Gertrude Van Name Gray died Saturday Nov. 15, 1997, at Riverside Hospital after a short illness.

She was the widow of the late John Charles Gray of Norfolk. Mrs. Gray was born in Staten Island, N.Y., lived in Norfolk for many years and most recently was a resident of Hampton.

Survivors include a niece, Esther G. Poteate and her husband, S. Blair Poteate Jr.; a great-niece, Anne P. Ratkus and her husband, James Ratkus; a great-nephew, S. Blair Poteate III and three great-great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Norfolk, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, 645 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, Va. 23320. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
