MARILYN C. HUDSON

Marilyn Carter Hudson, 66, of the 1300 block of Northside Road, died Nov. 16, 1997, in Albemarle Hospital.

She was a native of Elizabeth City and a member of Berea Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Seth Thomas Carter Sr. and Ludeena Jennings Carter, and the wife of Leonard Calvin Hudson Jr. of the home.

Besides her husband, surviving are two daughters, Terry H. Hobbs of Elizabeth City, and Jill H. Bissette of Gastonia; one son, John C. Hudson of Elizabeth City; two aunts, Edith C. Jennings and Elinda Harris both of Elizabeth City; two brothers, Seth T. Carter, Jr. of Camden, and James B. Carter of Hertford; and five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held in Berea Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Tracy Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Twiford's Memorial Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Berea Baptist Church. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
