MOST WANTED FUGITIVES

Roberta G. Amell is wanted in Virginia Beach for failing to appear in court in April 1996 to face robbery charges.

Amell went into a pet store at Lynnhaven Mall armed with a stun gun, threatened employees, took an animal and assaulted a security guard while attempting to escape, according to police.

Her last known address was in Virginia Beach and police believe she is still in the Hampton Roads area.

She is white, 44, 5 feet 1 inch and about 170 pounds. She has blue eyes and brown hair.

Michael Garrick Brown is wanted on a federal charge of conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Brown was indicted in May 1997.

He is known to frequent Norfolk's Ocean View, Willoughby Spit and Military Circle neighborhoods. His last known address was in Ocean View.

Brown is black, 22, 5 feet 7 inches and about 145 pounds. He has light to medium brown skin, brown eyes and black hair.

Steven Douglas Fralick is wanted for violating his probation on a 1993 drive-by shooting conviction in Virginia Beach.

Fralick's last known address was in Norfolk, and police believe he is still in the area.

He is white, 23, 5 feet 8 inches and about 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Iray Lee Dudley is wanted on a federal bank robbery charge.

Dudley robbed the Norfolk Naval Supply Center Federal Credit Union in August, according to police.

He may be using the aliases Junie Dudley, Steve Dudley or Aaron Douglas.

He is known to frequent Norfolk's downtown, Ocean View and Young Park areas. His last known address was in Norfolk.

Dudley is black, 49, 5 feet 8 inches and about 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and short black hair.

Donald Jerome Joe is wanted for violating his probation on cocaine and firearms convictions.

His last known address was in Virginia Beach, and police believe he is still in the area.

Joe is black, 54, 5 feet 11 inches and about 175 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. Fugitive Update Two fugitives whose pictures and descriptions ran in the Most Wanted column have recently been arrested following readers' tips.

Ricky Daniel Wilkerson, 27, of Virginia Beach was arrested in Baltimore. He was wanted on charges of impersonating a police officer and illegally having a firearm. He is now also being charged with forgery and kidnapping.

Marvin Ray Whitehurst, 30, who was wanted for violating parole on rape, abduction and sodomy convictions, turned himself in after seeing his picture in the Most Wanted column. MEMO: Anyone with information about these fugitives should contact the
