LIDA A. RODWELL

Lida A. Rodwell, 98, of the 200 block of 34th St., a retired railroad secretary, died Nov. 11, 1997.

Mrs. Rodwell was a native of Norfolk. She was the daughter of Lileus W. and Mollie S. Atkinson and the widow of Wilton E. Rodwell. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Virginia Beach.

Survivors include two nephews, R. Shelburne Ruddick and his wife, Louise, of Richmond and Richard M. Ruddick and his wife, Hortense, of Chesapeake; two nieces-in-law, Adele B. DeFord of Norfolk and Claire E. Amory of Virginia Beach; two great-nephews; one great-niece, two great-great-nieces and one great-great-nephew.

A private family service was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Nov. 14, 1997 by the Rev. Ted James. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
