Betty Hanbury Woolwine, 61, of the 5400 block of Walton Ave. died Monday, Nov. 17, 1997, in a local hospital.
She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Woolwine was born in Norfolk and was preceded in death by her father, William W. Hanbury. She was a member of Park Place Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth W. Woolwine; her mother, Pearl Proctor Hanbury; a daughter, Amy Woolwine Taylor and her husband, David; and two grandchildren, Blair Anne Taylor and Grant Austin Taylor, all of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Elmwood Cemetery by Dr. Paul B. Watlington Jr. The family will be at 1310 Cedar Lane, Norfolk. Memorial contributions may be made to Park Place Baptist Church. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
