Clarence William Harmon, 46, of the 400 block of Elizabeth St. died Nov. 17, 1997, in a local hospital.
He was a native of Bluefield, W.Va., and the son of Janice Frye Harmon of Pocahontas, Va. and the late James Floyd Harmon Jr. He was a painter.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Lillian Diane Harmon; two daughters, Christina Harmon, Holly Rebecca Harmon of Suffolk; four sisters; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Tom Potter. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
